starting is easier than you think
the hardest part about jiujitsu is walking through the door the first time.
Almost everyone feels nervous before their first Jiu-Jitsu class. Self-doubt is normal. As the owner of NSB Jiujitsu, I can say with confidence my first time I was very nervous. After my first class it was the most fun and I felt like I was floating.
At New Smyrna Beach Jiu-Jitsu, our doors are always open, and you’ll be welcomed by a supportive team that genuinely wants to see you succeed.
We’re known for making Jiu-Jitsu approachable for beginners. No egos. No pressure. Just real training in a positive environment. Show up, take the first step, and before you know it, you’ll be on your way to becoming the best version of yourself.

Our Process
-

build the foundation
Together, we work to build a strong foundation so you feel comfortable and safe. We work on stand up, wrestling techniques and good old fashion Jiujitsu! Remember go at your own pace and tap often. We want healthy and happy students!
-

Collaborate Openly
You’re part of the team now and our process. We keep communication open and work towards 1 common goal… Getting better!
-

Adapt
Each week you get better. You learn to adapt and your body and mind take shape. You will be amazed how quickly you transform into the person you have always wanted to be.
-

Confidence
Before you know it, you’ll start to recognize a different version of yourself.
You carry yourself with confidence. You stay calm under pressure. And if you ever need to protect yourself or someone you love, you know you’re prepared.
What Sets Us Apart
We put community first — always. At New Smyrna Beach Jiu-Jitsu, we believe real growth happens when people support one another and work toward a common goal. We train together to get better, to build confidence, and to be prepared to protect ourselves and the people we love.

"A+ Excellent gym and amazing coaches/professor. I'm turning 50 (blue belt 1 stripe) and I've been to gyms on both coasts and this has been the best place I've trained."
